- Curling Ribbon, Iridescent – Dollar Store
- Washable Marker
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks (low temp works best!)

- MERMAID STARFISH WAND PATTERNS
INSTRUCTIONS:
Download, print and then cut out the MERMAID STARFISH WAND PATTERNS with scissors.
Trace starfish pattern once, flip over and trace the reverse starfish image a second time on Kunin© Classic™ Felt Candy Pink, Lagoon, and Bright Lilac with a marker.
Cut out all patterns with scissors, cutting inside the traced lines, so you have a clean finished project. The younger kiddos might need some help with the cutting.
Outline and accent one of the Mermaid Starfish patterns with a coordinating colors of glitter glue. Cluster dots in the center and then add a single row trailing out each starfish arm. Set aside to allow glitter glue to dry. Place patterns on a piece of scrap cardboard, so they are easier for the kiddos to transfer.
Apply a line of low temp glue from a glue gun down the center of the plain starfish and insert wooden dowel. Glue the embellished Mermaid Starfish on top. You can use liquid craft glue, but you’ll have to wait to let it dry.

Instructions for Notebooks:
Remove the mini composition books from the packaging and the stickers from the Kunin® Classic™ Felt Craft Cuts. Apply fabric glue to front cover of composition book, and then spread out evenly with your fingertip. Place the glued composition book on top of Kunin® Classic™ Felt Craft Cuts, lining up the edges.
Apply fabric glue to the back cover of the composition book and spread out evenly with your fingertip. Fold Kunin® Classic™ Felt Craft Cuts over into the glue, making sure that the edges line up. Set aside to dry with a heavy book placed on top. This will allow the carboard covers of the composition book to dry flat.
Once dry, carefully trim away the excess Kunin® Felt with scissors. Trim the straight edges as well as the rounded corners of each mini composition book. Younger kiddos might need help with this step.
Accent the Mermaid Mini Notebooks with a coordinating color of glitter glue. Draw on rows of scalloped scales. Set aside to allow glitter glue to dry. Place composition books on a piece of scrap cardboard, so they are easier for the kiddos to transfer.
